Giovanna is an Italian born, Vathy local. She's been living on Ithaca for around 29 years, a life time for many. Giovanna proudly confesses that she's been married for 30 years, but has been with her husband for 40 years, and admits that her love for him is still as strong as it ever was. By all accounts, Giovanna is a talented singer and performs in the Ithaki Choir, she also works as translator in several languages, some of which are Italian of course, not so predictably German, and Spanish. Giovanna carries the style of Milano through Vathy, giving the streets a touch of class.
