Dimitris was born in the northern Ithacan village of Stavros. He's lived here nearly all his life except for 6 years when he decided to put Australia to the test. Although he enjoyed his time in Australia, it's Ithaki that owns his soul, so this is where he stays from here on in. Dimitris is retired now, but during his working years made his living as a Painter. In Stavros he enjoys the company of his friends who he meets at his favourite Kafenion and is generally happy with his island life and all which it offers.
