Frikes to Fiscardo . Lefkada . Lefkada Marshes . Vonitsa . Long way to Preveza . Arta to Voulgareli
As you head out of Lefkada toward the mainland, the landscape changes into a flat wetlands area. Long strip beaches and waterways scribble across the landscape with a castle ruin here and there.
 
 
 
 
On the edge of Lefkada, a waterlogged landscape encompasses the eastern link to the mainland. It's a landscape with ruins of Castles and their walls. The sandy and marshy banks are also the place where holidayers spend their days under the sun. A vast contrast to the beaches that Ithakis visitors laze their days away on.

Although there is a tunnel between Aktio (a village only around 22 km from Lefkas town) and Preveza (only 3 km from the Toll station), we took the bay road which takes us through Vonitsa, Amfilohia and Arta before continuing around the Amvrakikos Gulf to Preveza.
