Thursday 20th - Today is Tsiknopempti (burnt Thursday). We'll have some pics later or tomorrow.
Saturday 22nd - Tsiknopempti on Ithaca brought locals and visitors together for a sun-filled celebration of food, music, and tradition. In Vathy Square, the scent of grilled meats filled the air as high school students served up treats. Over in Kioni, the community hall was alive with music from Vaggeli Bitouras and guest performer Vangelis Michalatos, along with fun performances by local favorites like the Singing Priest, Papa Babi, and others.
